Founded in 2017, the ARRIS team set out to meet the demand for higher-performing products, especially in the consumer sectors. Carbon fiber composites offer a solution, but the design and production scale limitations have prevented widespread adoption. Building the software, materials, and manufacturing technology from a molding-based platform enabled ARRIS to produce continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites at high volumes while unlocking new performance levels. By developing a way to create lighter, thinner, stronger, and more sustainable parts, ARRIS delivers the highest performance structures in ways not previously possible.

Today, the ARRIS team is proud to be delivering on its promise to scale composites for a wide range of applications, including but not limited to footwear, bicycles, portable electronics, transportation, and industrial markets. Additive Molding by ARRIS is an advanced software, materials, and high-volume production platform for producing continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite structures. Additive Molding also results in more sustainable mass-market products, from significant reductions in waste to bio-based materials options, including natural fibers.
