In the late 1960’s owner Gary Whitener began work on a new and innovative plastic trim used to trim the edges on motorcycle helmets. His proprietary process slit, stamped and coined steel or aluminum, extruded that metal inside a flexible PVC plastic and then roll formed the part into the Trim-Lok Edge Trim part that is commonly used in nearly every industry and still sold today!

Trim-Lok continues to push engineering limits and lead innovation within our industry with several patented parts, including our all-in-one “living hinge” Snap-In Seal for RV slide-out units that combines a flap seal and bulb seal into one uniquely designed part. After installation the bulb “snaps” into place eliminating the need for additional labor and parts. Trim-Lok’s “living hinge” has translated into other patent pending designs.
